A basketweave that takes about a week to complete — Each throw is hand-loomed by master weavers high in the Peruvian Andes. The basketweave construction, with multi-hued colorways chosen to deepen the texture, is intricate enough that producing a single throw is about a week's work. You can see it.

There is a tier of alpaca fiber above baby alpaca — rarer, with a natural luster and softness that standard grades don't reach. Less than 2% of the annual alpaca harvest qualifies as Premium Baby. The Hamptons Basketweave Throw is made from it entirely. Hand-loomed by master weavers high in the Peruvian Andes in a complex basketweave pattern — each throw takes about a week to complete — the result is a textile that looks deliberate and feels extraordinary from the first time you pick it up. Multi-hued colorways are chosen specifically to deepen the visual texture of the weave; what reads as a single tone from across the room reveals more up close. At 78.75" × 51" with 3" of hand-twisted fringe, it is large enough to actually use — to pull across a sofa, to fold over a chair arm, to take into all four seasons. Temperature-regulating, naturally flame-resistant, antimicrobial, hypoallergenic, and colorfast. One important note: never machine wash.
