Old Fashioned Tender Knee High Tube Socks

Step back in time with our old fashioned Tube socks in 100% Baby Alpaca Wool which is the softest of alpaca wools! They are made using vintage mechanical knitting machines which produce a long continuous knit tube. These tubes are then cut into individual segments creating socks. Each sock is linked by hand "tenderly", which involves knitting together two open sides at the toe and heel. Viola! You have our baby alpaca wool Tender Tube socks!

To provide a premium fit, these socks have a fully shaped heel and deep calf rib, a reinforced heel & toe with a smooth toe seam. The medium weight of these alpaca socks will not add excessive thickness which can make shoes tight, causing irritation. Instead you'll have cozy comfort. Alpaca has been tested and it rates as three times warmer than a similar wool sock, but with far greater breathability, thus you have the warmest socks designed to wick away moisture keeping feet cozy and never clammy.

Our Tender Tube socks have an over the calf fit, and can be worn a multitude of ways. They fit so many needs from high boots to rubber boots, from fashion to function, we've even had fire fighters order them!
