The V-neck pullover is the most useful sweater shape in a wardrobe — it layers, it stands alone, it works with a collar underneath and without one. This one does all of that, and then adds the quiet advantage of baby alpaca: genuinely soft against bare skin, warmer than wool at a lighter weight, and naturally free of the itch that makes layering in cold weather impractical. Ribbing at the waist, wrists, and neck gives it structure; the slightly longer back and tuck-able hem give it versatility.
