Hand made from 100% pure luxurious alpaca, it contains no sheep's wool, acrylic or other fillers added only to cut cost. Featuring the classic details of traditional V-neck vests coupled with soft, links knit pure alpaca, it has reinforced edging and French seams. Finished with a banded bottom, this men's alpaca sweater vest is lightweight and breathable, providing continual comfort all day long.

Personally I have 7 Alpaca sweaters, a pull over, full sweater and 5 vests which I have enjoyed for the past 6 years. This year I gave 2 vests as gifts. I believe Alpaca is better, warmer and more comfortable than cashmere.

Good thing you don't have to play golf to wear this! I love this vest. I have several and wear a different one each day. In this awful winter weather, and even when fall & spring come, it keeps me comfortable without making me hot, its the alpaca, I think. I don't want to wear my cashmere anymore. This doesn't pill like the cashmere and it stays clean better too. I can wear it with any dress shirt, with or without a tie. It fits great, and covers my gut and looks professional.
