Our socks are meticulously crafted and provide the ultimate comfort. They feature a wide leg cuff to keep them in place and insure legs are happy too! 

The thick terry lining cocoons feet, while the natural properties of alpaca chase away cold. Everyone from motorcyclists and fishermen, to dog walkers and couch potatoes agree - they are the softest, warmest and most wonderful socks! They make excellent slipper socks too, wonderful for sleeping and keeping icy toes warm so the rest of you can relax!

Socks will last longer if you keep them out of the tumble dryer, but should they get tumbled it will not destroy them. Do not use heat.

    My husband loves his Toasty Toes

    I made the mistake of putting only one pair of these lovely socks in my husband's Christmas stocking last year. He was so happy with how soft, warm, and comfortable they are that he all but sat by the washer and dryer when it came time to launder them. "Are they dry yet? Are they dry yet?" he would plaintively ask. Realizing that all his other socks now fall short, I have ordered three more pairs so that Toasty Toes are always available to him. He is so happy with his soft warm socks that I don't think he'll ever dread winter again.

    Toasty Toes

    Initial impressions. The cold weather boot shock. For use in the winter trekking boots for winter hiking and snowshoeing. Warrior Alpaca socks are the softest and smoothest feeling socks worn. That's relative to the Bridgedale, Fox River and Smartwool Merino socks owned. Boots are 1/2 sized up to allow for plenty of toe wiggle room and good blood circulation. Initially they feel a bit tight due to the thickness of these socks. These are the thickest socks owned. After a few steps the tight areas compress and the boots feel like a perfect fit. +11km snowshoe hike over through +30cm of untracked trail over rolling terrain in ~5C air temps. Was expecting sweaty feet and damp socks. My feet run on the warm side. Toes were toasty. Feet were feeling fine at the end of the hike. Side note. Use the over the calf version of this sock in the "barn" boots. Uninsulated rubber knee high boots with a thermal insole. Hour exposed on the tractor plowing and snowplowing snow off the drive in ~10C. Cool feet, but not cold. Guessing the bottom temperature limit for these socks in the winter hiking boots if moving is double digits below 0F. 4 Stars for now. 5th star if the socks past the test of time & use.

    My husband LOVES these socks

    I bought several items as Christmas gifts from Sun Valley Alpaca. I gave my hubbie his socks early just to see what he thought. He hasn't taken them off since he put them on! I am back for more. Awesome product! A+ from this teacher :-)

    EXCELLENT QAULITY!! Well worth the money

    Toasty Toes Comfort Band Crew Ultimate Alpaca Socks

    These socks do what no other have been able to do! Very warm, even in LLBEAN non-insulated boots during freezing weather. The provide bulk without weight, absorb foot moisture without loss of warmth and THEY DON'T ITCH-LIKE WOOL!!!!!! I simply cannot wear regular wool for more than 15 to 20 minutes-love the warmth but my feet break out in a rash. I wear these all day, in rubber boots with no itch and dry feet--well worth the price!!
