Our fingerless gloves have individual openings for each finger, as well as a flap to cover exposed fingers, creating a mitten. The flap be worn buttoned back, so it stays out of the way when not needed, giving you full access to your fingers.

I bought these gloves for walking my dog in the extremely cold Canadian winters. They keep my hands toasty warm even in -6C degree weather. I love them, as they are lightweight and allow me to "free" my fingers without completely taking off my gloves. The wind and cold do not penetrate even though the gloves are not a tight knit weave.

I was surprised at how thin the gloves are. I was disappointed expected a thicker pair of gloves. I was hoping to get a pair to keep me warm while I shovel snow, I cannot see how these gloves will be warm. I plan to return. **Note. Alpaca doesn't have to be thick to be warm. Due to it's thermal qualities, the beauty of alpaca is that it is as warm as wool, while being far thinner. We would encourage you try these glittens, prior to saying they wouldn't be warm.
