NOTE This is a natural product and may contain some vegetable matter.
  • Queen and King bats may need to be pulled slightly to fit fabric. They have a tendency to be springy once manufactured and they decrease slightly in their dimensions during shipping. With gentle pulling they will achieve the proper measurements.

    Details:

  • Extremely warm and lightweight. Alpaca fibers are smoother and contain no lanolin. They wick moisture and breathe naturally.
  • Hypoallergenic ~ Alpaca contains no Lanolin nor does it hold dander due to the composition of the fiber, proving a healthier sleep environment. Alpaca also discourages bed bugs and mattress mites as there are no microscopic particles for these pests to feed on.
  • Like wool, alpaca stays warm when wet, but alpaca doesn’t get the unpleasant “wet sheep” smell that goes with wet wool.
  • Easy to care for! Simply hand wash your alpaca quilt and line dry or lay flat. (Dry cleaning OK) Never put a quilt with alpaca batting in the dryer—the heat and tumbling motion will ruin it.
  • Protected alpaca quilts from moths when not in use. Store unused quilts with lavender or cedar.
